Kenji Yamamoto: Let's unpack that first one about automation. Why is it so crucial?
Finley Grant: Well, imagine you're responsible for deploying updates to hundreds of servers. Doing that manually would be a nightmare. Tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef let you define your infrastructure as code. One script can handle what would take days of manual work.
Kenji Yamamoto: And that ties directly into reliability, doesn't it?
Finley Grant: Absolutely. When you automate, you eliminate human error. The same command runs exactly the same way every time. Plus, it's repeatable and documentable. That's gold in enterprise environments.
